LST2 Motor Mount

There are motor mounts and then there is the TD-Racing Motor mount.  Not just a bracket to mount your motor for your brushless conversion.  The TD-Racing Mount makes setting and resetting your gear mesh when you install or change pinion gears easy and confident.  HOW?  The mount has a swivel plate that the motor actually mounts to.  The swivel plate has the motor mount holes off center by .125in.  This causes the motor to swivel off center.  So, as you turn the motor the pinion gear moves toward your spur gear slightly.  Swivel it, set your gear mesh and tighten the ONE locking screw about 1/4 - 3/8 of a turn and your motor is locked in that position.  To change your pinion,,, loosen the clamping screw rotate your motor, replace pinion gear, and repeat.

 

Also, if you have different motors, or upgrade later to a different motor you DO NOT have to purchase another entire mount.  Just order another swivel plate.

There are many, many types of motors on the market and there is no way for me to know the mounting info on all of them.  It is up to you to verify your motors mounting pattern and screw mounting size.

The mount is designed to fit the MOST popular 540 style motor mounting size with a 25mmDIA, 4 bolt circle for M3 or M4 countersink screws

 

Please DO NOT email me, or note in the paypal provided “note to merchant” option, ie. “I need it to fit the “Xenon S5300 motor”.  I can not fill your order confidently with only this info.  Please research your motor.
